I knew I was forgetting some aspect of an assignment...luckily I spotted Daniel's post about his ideas for the class project in my follow feed :)
My idea is as follows: I plan to take anonymous photos (going back to a root passion of mine in film photography) of women who have stories to tell about their experiences with social pressure to be thin. I want to include small, personal stories with each photo. I am incredibly passionate about the social justice issue of the degradation of body image. This is also the area I plan to focus on for my senior project...so I'm excited to begin researching and connecting with the positive body-image movement!
